She was predeceased by : her husband Arie Bouwens; and her son Samuel A. Bouwens. She is survived by : her children, Hendrik Bouwens (Sherilyn), Angela Bouwens, Lee Marie Wiggins (Joseph), Maria Bouwens (Tim) and Arie Bouwens (Carrie); and her sisters-in-law, Susan Piccione and Sjaan Roeleveld. She is also survived by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
