He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles F. Austin (John) and Helen L. Austin (Pultz); his brother Lawrence Austin (Igg); his nephews, Todd and Michael Austin; and his brother-in-law Dewey Rowe.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Ann Austin (Soladay); his children, Jesse M Austin (Evelyn), Anne M. McCafferty (John) and Dona O'Connor (Timothy); his grandchildren, Cierra Austin, Jackson Austin, Kelsie Knapp (McCafferty), Joshua McCafferty, Chad O'Connor, Parker O'Connor and Triston Myers; his great grandchildren, Kendall Gordon and Rosemary Knapp; his sisters, Sharon Fuller and Mary K. Rowe (Kap); his niece Aimee; his nephew John Rowe; and his friends, Karen McLeaghan and John Benjamin.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Osterhoudt-Madden Funeral Home (69 Maple St, Harpursville, NY 13787). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
