He was predeceased by : his parents, Glenn B. Petit and Ida Johnson; and his siblings, Emmajean, William, Victor and Arlene.

He is survived by : his children, Glenda of Quebec, CA, Melaina Wilson (Mike) of Deland, FL, Dawn Hull (Darryl) of Hastings, NY, Leiana (Tom) and Craig (Kelly) of Parish; and his grandchildren, Joshua, Jessica, Paul, Gina, Greg, Travis, Tyler, Katrina, Darryl, Hunter, France, Eric, Devon, Sarah, Elijah, Jake, Dylan and Kaylynn. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
