She was predeceased by : her husband Max Gerber; her parents, Henry Scheer and Helen Scheer; her brother Alan Scheer; and her siblings-in-law, Lucille Scheer and Gerson Adele.
She is survived by : her sons, Todd and James; her daughter-in-law Melanie; her granddaughter Leah; and her sister Louise Adell.
Doris (née Scheer) Gerber passed away on October 9, 2018 at the age of 92 after suffering from complications pneumonia as well as her long difficult battle with Alzheimer's and dementia.
