Rose Rampa Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rose Rampa (Hawthorne, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 5, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Rose departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Rose. Though Rose may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lino Rampa and Lucia DiGiannantonio Rampa. She is survived by: her aunt Dora Ryan.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home (168 Park Ave, Yonkers, NY 10703). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (110 Shonnard Pl, Yonkers, NY 10703). An entombment will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (5 Bradhurst Ave, Hawthorne, NY 10532).

Her generous and thoughtful spirit was also evident in her charitable contributions to organizations such as St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the Wounded Warriors Project.
