He was predeceased by : his wife Bella; his parents, Rusian Thompson and Dovie Luree Thompson; and his siblings, Peggy Thompson, Bob, Burton and Ray.
He is survived by : his sons, Richard G. and Frank Thompson; his sister Patricia Boatright (Ronnie); and his grandsons, Eli and Dameon. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
