He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Buffalo and Alice Chase; his grandson Jeffrey Michael Chase; and his siblings, Pauline, Blanch, Sandford and Lawrence.

He is survived by: his wife Connie Chase; his brother Marcell Chase (Sharon); his children, Jeffrey Chase (Staci) of Newark, NY, Sherry Brabaw (Stuart) of Hermon, NY and Kelly Cleveland (Clarence) of Hermon, NY.; his grandchildren, Cortney Brabaw, DJ Sussey, Cody Cleveland, Logan, Kacie Brabaw, Matthew Chase, Segwon Dailey, Zack Cleveland, Ashley, Mackenzie, Hailey Chase, Kelsey Cleveland, Storm Blackburn, Mollie Cleveland and Brooke Toth; and his great grandchildren, Erik, Noah, Addison, Pyper, Danielle, Matthew, Kathlyn, Everett, Ivory, Grayson and Lucie.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the O'Leary Funeral Service (5821 US-11, Canton, NY 13617). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
