He was predeceased by: his mother-in-law Betty Ann Treasure. He is survived by: his son Regis Edward; his wife Tonia Ruffing; his stepson Raymond Place, Jr.; his father Regis of Monroe; his sisters, Melinda Ruffing of Richmond and Marcia Kania (James) of Peterborough; his nieces, Casey Kania and Jordan Kania; his father Thomas Wagner; and also Mary Louise Ruffing (Baranesky).
