He is survived by : his parents, Michael Slater and Terry Maynard Slater of Great Valley, NY.; his close friend Kassandra Goodman of Hinsdale, NY; his children, Isabella Slater of Hinsdale, NY, Sebastian Slater of Hinsdale, NY and Nikolai Slater of Hinsdale, NY; his sister Melissa Slater (William Cooper) of Salamanca, NY; his nieces, Tessa Higgins of Salamanca, NY and Katerina Cooper of Salamanca, NY; and his nephew Brendon Higgins of Salamanca, NY.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc. Funeral Home (25 River St, Salamanca, NY 14779). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Our Lady of Peace Parish (274 Broad St, Salamanca, NY 14779).
