It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Freida A. Wangelin of Holland, New York, born in Buffalo, New York, who passed away on April 24, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Rudolph Rakoska and Edith Rakoska (Reinhardt). She is survived by : her husband Norman L. Wangelin; her children, William Wangelin (Sue) of Holland, Jeanne Holmes (Dave) of Sardinia and Daniel Wangelin (Jessica) of Buffalo; and her grandchildren, Brent Wangelin (Grace), Nolan Wangelin (Madelyn), Jared Wangelin, John, Brianna Holmes, Cora and Cole Wangelin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the W.'s. Davis, Inc. Funeral Home (358 W Main St, Arcade, NY 14009). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Holland United Methodist Church (11699 Partridge Rd, Holland, NY 14080).
