She was predeceased by : her parents, George Kester and Ruth Kester (Weber); her husband Paul C. Lewis; her son Roger Lewis; and her siblings, George Kester and Marjorie Szulewski.

She is survived by : her children, Richard Lewis (Ellen) of Machias, Ronald Lewis (Diana) of Yorkshire and Russell Lewis (Kelly) of Yorkshire; her siblings, Robert Kester (Mary Lee) of Mayville and Dale Kester (Rita) of Jamestown; her grandchildren, Derek, Randy, Colleen, Errin, Amanda and Jessica; and her great grandchildren, Isaiah, Brianna, Elijah, Charley, Cheyenne, Collin, Brendon, Dean, Riley, Addison, Connor, Lilah, Kessa-Jo, Kaete-ann and Alyssa. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
