He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Frances "Franny" (Murray), Robert Dafoe, Donel and Elizabeth "Dickie" Hartnett (Smith); and his cousins, Elliot Dafoe and Blaise Dafoe.

He is survived by: his parents, DJ Hartnett and Nettie Hartnett (Dafoe); his brothers, Kane Hartnett, Tristan Hartnett (Angela Contento) and Haleigh Hartnett (Zeches); his nieces and nephews, Gianna and Luciano Hartnett; and his brothers, Myla and Allie Hartnett. He is also survived by loving cousins, friends, coworkers.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home Inc. (9 Lincoln Ave, Cortland, NY 13045). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Hiawatha Inn (3744 NY-13, Truxton, NY 13158).
