Agnes Taylor Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 26, 2025, at the age of 87, Agnes Taylor (Hopewell Junction, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Agnes shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Agnes farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Merz and Agnes Merz (Cassidy); and her siblings, Betty Shay and Robert. She is survived by: her children, Michael (Christy Taylor) and Patty (Peter Economos); her grandsons, Joey and Jake Taylor; and her brother William Merz. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Columba Church (835 NY-82, Hopewell Junction, NY 12533).
Memorial donations may be made to the Dutchess County SPCA or Hudson Valley Hospice.
