With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Anthony L. Filancia (Hopewell Junction, New York), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Saverio Filancia and Antoinette Filancia (DeVito); and his sister Elise Brescia. He is survived by: his wife Janet Johnson; his children, William Filancia, Matthew Filancia (Paula), Anthony Filancia Jr. (Billy) and Sally Filancia; his grandchildren, Kyle Blanchard (Michelle), Jaycee Filancia, Bret Filancia (Tara), Nicholas Filancia and Brendan Filancia; and his sister Linda Rosato (Willie). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Tony's memory to a charity of your choice or to a local youth sports organization, honoring his lifelong passion for coaching and supporting the kids on and off the field.
