She was predeceased by: her parents, James Quirke and Mary Quirke; and her siblings, Michael, Jimmy, John, Paddy, Norah and Mary.
She is survived by: her husband William; her sister Betty Griffin; her son James Horan (Janet); her grandchildren, Erin (Cristina), Colleen, Alanna, Shannon and Kiera; her daughter Brenda Crossley (Doug); her grandchildren, Eamon, Tiernan, Eilish and Saoirse; her great grandchild Una Moore (Dan); and also, Fiona, Aidan and Claire. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Joan to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
