We are sad to announce that on January 8, 2021, at the age of 98, Kathleen Vermilyea (Hopewell Junction, New York), born in Beacon, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Patrick McCullough and Rebecca McCullough (Carey); her husband George F. Vermilyea; and her brothers, David McCullough, Charles McCullough and John "Jack" McCullough.

She is survived by: her sons, G. Terrance Vermilyea of Oswego, Charles A. Vermilyea of Fairbanks, AK, Patrick A. Vermilyea of Wilmington, NC and Michael T. Vermilyea of Fair Haven, VT; her grandchildren, Jon Vermilyea, Daniel Vermilyea, Jessica Vermilyea, Theresa Morse, Courtney Vermilyea, Christopher Vermilyea and Amanda Vermilyea; and her sibling's children, Maureen McCullough, James, Timothy Birtles, Kathleen Rhodes and David McCullough. She is also survived by her 12 great grandchildren.
