It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Waltraud Scriven (Horseheads, New York), who passed away on May 31, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Buhs and Augusta M. Umbach Buhs; her husband Harry W. Scriven; her daughters, Janice Scriven and Paula Love; her children-in-law, Glenn C. Coats, David Riker and Jeri Scriven; and her daughter Carol Ann.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Scriven, Diane Taylor (Steve), Pamela Kent (Mark), Mary Ann Cleary (Tim), Lisa Coats and James Scriven (Tina); and her cousins, Rudiger Göbel, Ingrid, Indra and Ulrikre. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sullivan's Funeral Home (365 E Franklin St, Horseheads, NY 14845). A burial will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Scotchtown Cemetery. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sullivan's Funeral Home (365 E Franklin St, Horseheads, NY 14845).
