Machardo Fernando Rhymaun Obituary
Machardo Fernando Rhymaun was born on July 2, 2002, and died on April 29, 2025. He had a passion for fitness and loved to work out, inspiring everyone around him to strive for their best. Growing up, Machardo played many sports and was always a very active child and young adult. He loved motorcycles, really nice cars, and all his outdoor toys like four-wheelers and dirt bikes, always finding joy in their beauty and the freedom they brought. Machardo graduated from high school in 2021 and attended a year at Hudson Valley Community College before later graduating with his Associate's Degree from Columbia-Greene Community College. While attending Columbia-Greene, he also worked there, gaining valuable experience and knowledge. He worked at Planet Fitness for several years and became a personal trainer, sharing his passion for fitness with others. Machardo was working on his social media accounts getting his name out there to the world. Machardo was on his way to becoming something great and to really make his mark in this world. He had big plans and even bigger dreams he was going to be something extremely GREAT!!! Machardo had an incredible ability to make people laugh and smile, always seeing the best in others and encouraging them to work smarter, not harder, and to aim higher. He never wanted to let anybody down and always put others first. Machardo had a great heart and deeply loved his family, especially his mom, dad, and little sister.
He was a loyal and loving friend, always willing to lend a hand to those in need. His spirit of generosity and his zest for life will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him. He really left a huge impact in this world!
Machardo is survived by his mother, Lacie Sapcoe; his father, Fernando Rhymaun; his sister, Ananda Rhymaun; grandparents Randolph and Margaret Rhymaun and Michael Sapcoe, his aunts, Holly, Ashley, Tina, Tanya, Lisa, Michelle, Carol, and Alicia; his uncles, Mark, Scott, Jay, Christopher, Ricardo, Dorian, and Pete; he is also survived by many many cousins and other loving family members and his enormous amount of friends. Machardo is predeceased by his grandmother Catherine Sapcoe.
A viewing for Machardo will be held on Sunday, May 4th, from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., followed by a service at 3 p.m. The services and viewing will be held at Bates and Anderson Funeral Home, located at 110 Green Street, Hudson, New York. The burial service will take place on Monday, May 5th, at 1 p.m. at Catskill Cemetery in Jefferson Heights, Catskill, New York.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made either directly to his mother, Lacie Sapcoe , or his father, Fernando Rhymaun. A GoFundMe in Machardo's name is also available for those who wish to contribute.
