She was predeceased by : her parents, Ruth Lamont Anderson and Albert Mortimer Merkent; and her husband Robert Allen Goetter. She is survived by : her daughters, Cheryl (Douglas Orr) of Norfolk, VA, Barbara (Robert Gelmetti) of Cheshire, CT and Kimm (Thomas Henry) of Mechanicsville, VA.; and her grandchildren, Andrew, Christine, Emily Orr, Kasey, William Connor, Madeline, Meridith, Hannah Gelmetti, Ryan and Meghan Henry.

In lieu of flowers, please consider sending donations in her name to the Richmond, Virginia SPCA; Alzheimer's Association; or American Cancer Society.
