With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mikal Kaare Moskeland of Huntington, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 3, 2025 at the age of 98. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Anny; his children, Linda Fuchs (Kent), Lorraine Mork (late Robert) and Kenneth Moskeland (Beverly); his grandchildren, Micah, David, Eric, Brian, Issac, Christopher, Christine and Annalyse; and his great grandchildren, Keri Grace, Bobby, Henry, Seth, Max, Calvin, Margo, Nora and Orion.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the A. L. Jacobsen Funeral Home, Inc. (1380 New York Ave, Huntington Station, NY 11746). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at the Melville Cemetery (490 Sweet Hollow Rd, Melville, NY 11747).
