Shirley F. Burns Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley F. Burns of Hurley, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 28, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence W. Freer and Florence W. Freer (Radcliffe); her husband Ronald F. Burns, Sr.; and her son Gerald R. Burns. She is survived by: her sons, Ronald F. Burns Jr. (Patricia) and Brian M. Burns (Kelly); her grandchildren, Jenna and Kyle; her siblings, Janice Wolf and Gerald S. Freer; and her sister-in-law Margaret Freer.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Hurley Reformed Church (11 Main St, Hurley, NY 12443). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. The inurnment will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Hurley Cemetery (69-91 Zandhoek Rd, Hurley, NY 12443).
Ln lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
