He is survived by: his children, Julie Ruggiero (Giovanni), James Candela (Ellen) and Peter Candela (Mary); his grandchildren, Luciana, Franca (Paul), Marisa (Greg), Amber, Alexis (Ian), Adam (Laura) and Declan; his great grandchildren, Bianca, Enzo, Francesca, Luigi and Leo; and his sister Rose Grassi. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
