He was predeceased by: his wife Viola I. Hatt; and his siblings, Helen, Marion, Barbara, Harold and Raymond.
He is survived by: his uncle Sam; his daughters, Barbara J. Hatt of Ithaca and Marilyn J. Hatt of Ithaca; his brother Donald Hatt of Marietta, PA; and his sisters-in-law, Beverly Hatt of Rochester, NY and Jean Larson of Penney Farm, FL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
