He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Waite and Georgette Roux Waite; his children, Charles Jr., Betty Jean and Daniel; and his sister Christine.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Finch; his siblings, Daniel and Helen Porter; his granddaughter Ashley; his great grandchild Donte; and his close friend Shawn Terwilliger.
