She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert V. King and Florence King (Stevens); and her significant other Daniel M. "Bud" Buchanan. She is survived by: her children, Amy DeVito (Ralph) of Oxford, CT, Ellen Hahn (Martin) of Vestal, NY, Julie Wilson (Stephen) of Flanders, NJ and Stephen Buchanan (Shae) of Seminole, FL; and her sister Joyce Burr. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
