Franklin Butler Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 29, 2020, at the age of 89, Franklin Butler of Ithaca, New York, born in Schenectady, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dorothy Faye Baird Butler and Stannard McLean Butler; his son Violins; his wife Janis; his son Jim Butler; his daughter-in-law Kayoko; his daughter Laurel King Butler Lawshae; his son-in-law Tom; his brother Bruce Baird Butler; and his brothers-in-law, H. Cooper Rollow and H. Alan Rollow. He was also cherished by fifteen nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations will be welcomed at First Baptist Church, PO Box 254, Ithaca, NY 14851; the Interlochen Center for the Arts, Interlochen, MI; or the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, 159 Sapsucker Road, Ithaca, NY 14850.
