She was predeceased by: her parents, James McCarthy and Mary O'Neil McCarthy; her husband Zoltan Gombas; and her siblings, Patricia McCarthy Petrillo (Joseph), Margaret McCarthy Reynolds (Joseph) and James H. McCarthy.
She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Gombas Roe, David Gombas, Jeffery Gombas (Bonnie) and Robert Gombas; her grandchildren, Patrick Roe (Nicole), Colin Roe, Audrey Gombas, Angela Gombas, Zoltan Gombas, Matthew Gombas, Kyle Gombas, Kim Hamilton and Jessica Troy Smith; her great grandchild Addison Smith; her sister Kathleen McCarthy Hallen; and her brother-in-law William Gombash. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Hospicare of Ithaca.
