He is survived by: his wife Shirley Springstead Sherman; his children, Bryan Sherman of Trumansburg, John F Sherman of Ovid, NY, Myron I. Sherman III of Rochester, Karrie Harper-Sherman of Rochester, NY and Jesse Gordon Sherman of Albany, NY.; his siblings, Josephine Cooke of Elmira, NY and Robert Leonard Jr. of Burlington, VT.; his stepchildren, James W. Bray of Groton, NY, Melissa Cooper (James) of Groton, NY, Victoria Cooper (Jack) of Groton, NY, Robert Bray (Melissa) of Carthage, NC and Sarah Kirkey (Shane) of Scipio, NY; and his siblings, Charlotte Sherman and Corr Leonard. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
