It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of René Sylvester of Ithaca, New York, who passed away on May 15, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul and Alfreda; and his granddaughter Mira Brouwer. He is survived by: his wife Melissa Sylvester; his children, Yann Luc Sylvester, Anna Sylvester of Ithaca, NY, Paul Sylvester (Jennifer) of Fairfax, VA and Christine Brouwer of Ithaca, NY; his grandchildren, Parker, Emmett Sylvester, Jackson and Korrine Brouwer; his siblings, Dori Sawyer, Nicole Sylvester (Gary Hoffman) of Geneseo, NY and Denis Sylvester (Linda) of Bloomfield, NY.; and his cousins, France and Austria. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews.
