He was predeceased by: his father Richard. He is survived by: his wife Diane Weatherby Sherman; his children, Mark Sherman (Lee Ann), Barbara Policay (Tom) and Jeff Sherman; his grandchildren, Tyler (Alex), Trevor (Erin), Thomas and Taylor; his great grandchild Aurora Laine; his mother Hazel Hart; and his sisters, Patricia Card (Daniel), Connie Sherman (Rick May), Debbie Figures (George) and Betty Dean (Scott). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
