She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Alston and Bertha Beatrice Alston; and her brother Albert Alston. She is survived by: her husband Hector A. Salmon; her daughter Camille L. Burns; her grandchildren, Ayanna A. McIntrye and Nathaniel D. Ragland; her siblings, Joyce Alston-Madumeye and Alphonse Alston; her siblings' children, Ekanma Madumeye, Jacqueline Alston, Stephanie Alston and Albert Alston Jr.; and her great-niece Kayla Nava-Madumeye. She is also survived by other loving nieces, nephews and close cousins.
Viewing was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the J. Foster Phillips Funeral Home Inc. (179-24 Linden Blvd, Jamaica, NY 11434). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
