With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Samuel Baglivo Jr. (Jamaica, New York), born in Vandergrift, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 28, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine and Samuel. He is survived by: his sibling's children, Tony Jean, Eddie, Gloria, Sam, Louis, Vickie, Doreen, Steven, Pat, Joe, Jeffrey, Jeanette, Paul, Nicloe, Gregory, Christopher and Lara; his close friends, Nick, Linda, Maria and John; and his wife Kathleen.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Leahy McDonald Funeral Home (11102 Atlantic Ave, Richmond Hill, NY 11419). A burial will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Maple Grove Cemetery (83-15 Kew Gardens Rd, Kew Gardens, NY 11419).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to plant a tree or donations to The American Heart Association or any foundation of your choice.
