She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Yonkers and Jeanette Johnson Yonkers; her siblings, Millie Mosher, Virginia Yonkers, Julie Charles, Shirley Strand and Marvin Yonkers; and her sister-in-law Deloris Gordonson.

She is survived by: her children, Richard Ivan Johnston Jr. (Veronica) of Gerry and Bonnie Sue Warner (Scott Carlson) of Jamestown; her grandchildren, Richard Ivan Johnston III (Kristina), Ashley Johnston, James Johnston, Brianna Skuggen (Courtney Sawaya), Daryn Himes, Brittany Whippo (Brandon), Justin Johnston, Cory Warner, Melissa Warner (Jason Johnson) and Joshua Warner; and her siblings, Paul Gordonson of Jamestown, Norman Yonkers (Judy) of Jamestown and Lucille Hall (Bill). She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
