He was predeceased by: his parents, Orland Potts and Edna Loeswick Potts; his wife Lucille Crandall Potts; his son Barclay "Skip" Potts, Jr.; his daughter-in-law Jan Hallstrom Potts; his siblings, William Potts, James Potts (Gloria), Edward Potts, Sally Ann (Joseph Russell) and Karen (Joseph Dexter); and his brother-in-law Thomas Geerkin.
He is survived by: his siblings, Richard Potts (Mina) of Crystal Beach and Judith Geerkin of Tonawanda, NY; his sisters-in-law, Joanne "Wana" Potts of Dunham, NC and Beverly Kallin of Bradenton, FL.; his children, Carolyn Potts of Jamestown, NY, David Potts of Austin, TX and Linda Walrod (Robert) of Jamestown, NY; his daughter-in-law Cheryl Potts of Richland, NY.; his grandchildren, Timothy McGinnis (Kristen Peterson), Patrick McGinnis (Jenny), Janelle Potts, Joelle VanEtten (Duane), Brett Potts, Aaron Potts, Annemarie Potts, Lisa Stanton (Matthew) and Sandra Walrod; his great grandchildren, Elliana, Isaac and Emma Stanton; and his friend Tim Timblin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
