She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl Albert and Ruth Victoria Hammarstedt Roos; and her former husband Derold Cheney. She is survived by: her children, Susan K. Brown (Thomas), Ricky Cheney (Rod Swackhammer) of Jamestown and Steven Cheney (Lori); her grandchildren, Amanda Brown (Wayne) of Jamestown and Casey Brown (Cassie) of Jamestown; and her sisters, Carolyn Grunder of Binghamton, NY and Elaine Gordon of South Carolina. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association of WNY, 6215 Sheridan Drive, Suite 100, Amherst, NY 14221-4837.
