Matteson; her stepchildren, John, Billy Vincent, Wendy and Cansada Cartner; and her siblings, George, Joe, James Dowthitt, Richard Hernandez (Oscar), Mary Smith (Thomas), Sharon Inman, Rhonda Kennedy and Darleen Glover. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
