He was predeceased by: his parents, Burdette Hook and Ellen Hayes Hook; his wife Bernice Whittaker Hook; his daughter Debra Hemmis; and his brothers, Reid Anderson, Ronald Hook and Duane Kittner.
He is survived by: his children, John Hook of Ashville and Sandra Bagley Allis (David) of Cuba, NY.
