He was predeceased by: his parents, Dominic Raineir and Frances Foti Raineir; his wife Mary Ann Lovecchio Raineir; his son-in-law Vincent A. Messina; and his siblings, Anthony Raineir, Sarah Donato, Mary Conti, Carrie Sprigg, Josephine LaPlaca, Connie Farino, Grace DePasquale and Margaret St. Clair.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kathleen Messina of Jamestown, Diane Culotta (Cass) of Angola, NY, Mary Frances Maisto (Larry) of Jamestown and Lori Ianniello (Michael) of Penfield, NY; his grandchildren, Andrew Messina (Michelle), Martin Messina (Lori), Joseph Culotta (Emily), Rachel DePietro (Scott), Steven Maisto (Meredith), Amanda, Joshua and Nicholas Ianniello; and his great grandchildren, Anthony, Sophia, Lucy, Joy Messina, Louie, Oly, Bowie Culotta, Khloe, Laura DePietro and Harper Maisto.
Due to the restrictions on public gatherings caused by the coronavirus outbreak, a private Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Holy Apostles Parish at St. John Catholic Church.
