She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Piatz and Carmella Barber Piatz; her former husband Walter Johnson; and her sister Beverly Southwick. She is survived by: her husband Leonard Montagna; her son Scott Malta (Barbara) of Aberdeen, NC; her grandchildren, Destini Malta, Cherish Wright (Chad), Brittany Gilbert (Jason) and Joseph Malta; and her stepchildren, Leonard Montagna, Jr., Dawn Sard and Dinelle Wiley.
