We are sad to announce that on December 4, 2020, at the age of 82, Donald E. Ray (Jamestown, New York), born in Glenmoore, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son Philip Donald Ray; his stepson Matthew C. Adams; his sister Evelyn Ray McClure; and his former wife Elizabeth Jane Riegner. He is survived by: his wife Karen Danielson Adams-Ray; his son Joel Ray (Lindsey); his grandchildren, Carson, Parker, Colin Ray of Roanoke, VA, Matthew Ray (Jessica), Jeremiah and Evalee Ray of Peru, NY; his stepson Bradley C. Adams (Whitney); his granddaughter Makena Rose Adams of Frewsburg, NY; and his brothers, Robert Ray (Margaret) of Glenmoore and Paul Ray (Carol) of Tennessee.
In consideration of the current pandemic, visitation will not be observed and a celebration of Don's remarkable life will be held later next year on a date to be announced.
In lieu of flowers at this time, memorials may be made to Chautauqua Hospice & Palliative Care, 20 W. Fairmount Avenue, Lakewood, NY 14750; or to First Presbyterian Church, 509 Prendergast Avenue, Jamestown, NY 14701.
