He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Walter and Lola Walter (Wellman); his wife Mary Lou (Goodwill); his daughter Lynette Walter McQuillan; and his brother George Walter.
He is survived by: his children, David Walter (Nita) of Jamestown, Susie Buzzetto, Cindy Warner (Chip) of Ashville and Doug Walter (Nicole) of Portland, NY; his grandchildren, Marty McQuillan, Jr., Michael McQuillan, John McQuillan, Scott Walter, Lauren Walter Jacobs, Jack Warner, Caitlin Warner Lent, Jeffrey Warner, Sara Buzzetto Heban, Ryan Buzzetto, Devin Walter and Derek Walter; and his great grandchildren, Madeleine, Caroline, Kinsley, Rowan, George, Niall, Quinn, Waverleigh and Ava. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
