She was predeceased by: her parents, Fredric William Frye and Mary Pearl Andrews Frye; her husband Merle E. Chapman; her sons, Alan Chapman and Larry Chapman; her stepfather George Griffin; and her siblings, Elva Nelson, Alberta Gonda, Georgia Baldwin and Bud Frye.
She is survived by: her children, James C. Chapman (Jane) of Busti and Diana Wehrenberg of Ashville; her grandchildren, David Chapman of Aurora, CO, Scott Button of Jamestown, Ben Button of Frewsburg, Andrew Chapman of Busti and Kim Wehrenberg of Phoenix, AZ; her great grandchildren, Savannah, Nicholas, Sarah, Alyssa, Michael, Allen and Logan; and her sister Linda Edington of Greenhurst.
