It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dorothy J. Wilder (Jamestown, New York), born in Savannah, Georgia, who passed away on March 1, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold L. Nichols and Dorothy Waller-Nichols-Austin; her husband Edwin J. Wilder; her son Michael S. Wilder; her brothers, Jack Nichols and John Austin; and her stepfather Arthur Austin.
She is survived by: her children, Joanne Schmidt (Al) of Dallas, T. X., William Wilder (Patricia) of Houston, T. X., Patrick Wilder (Mary) of Danville, V. A. and Joseph Wilder (Eva) of Houston, T. X.; her daughter-in-law Linda Sampson of Jamestown, N. Y.; her grandchildren, Ryane Parsons (Wilder), Morgan Wilder, Tiffany Wilder, Sydney Giesey (Schmidt), Jacob Schmidt, Kurt Salupo, Adam Sundholm and Jordyn Sampson; and her brother James Dennis Austin of Galveston, T. X.. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
Due to CDC and NYS Covid 19 regulations face masks will be required and social distancing observed for the funeral mass and visitation.
