He was predeceased by: his stepson Raymond Brooks; and his stepgreat-granddaughter Brandi Mia DeCola. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Apthorpe Mesel; his daughters, Kim Greiner (Mike) of Bemus Point and Kerry Erskine of Falconer; his grandchildren, Brandon, Courtney, Sydney Greiner of Bemus Point, Kaitlyn, Rachel and Matthew Erskine of Falconer; his stepchildren, Pamela Andrews, Patricia Phillips, Jill Lecceardone, Barbara Nygren (Rick) and Herbert Brooks; and his stepgrandchildren, Ginger Gray, Jake Andrews, Brooke DeCola, Josh Andrews, Jillian Peterson, Donald Rexford, Colton Phillips, Alicia Fraccorali, Andrew Lecceardone, Dea Voorhis, Deena Calhoun, Andrew Nygen, Nick Nygren, Piper Brooks and Haley Brooks. He is also survived by seven sisters and six brothers.
