With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George D. Sheesley of Jamestown, New York, born in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 2, 2022 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyd Sheesley and Mildred Kuntz Sheesley; and his siblings, Robert Sheesley, Thomas Sheesley and Carol Custer.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnne Evanczik Sheesley; his children, Timothy Sheesley of Jamestown, Kelly Sheesley of Scottsdale, AZ and Michael Sheesley (Erica) of Frewsburg; his grandchildren, Payton, Tanyon, Maddox, Asher and Harlow Sheesley; his sisters, Shirley Payton of Cartersville, GA and Janet Staples of Cartersville, GA; and his sister-in-law Becky Sheesley of Bemus Point.
