He was predeceased by: his wife Sharon Cobb Stenander; and his parents, Evert Stenander and Dorothea Nelson Stenander. He is survived by: his children, Barbara Nelson (Ron) of North Carolina, Herbert Stenander, Jr. of Jamestown, William Stenander (Heidi) of Jamestown, James Stenander of Georgia, Marcia Moorehead (Archie) of West Clarksville, NY and Mark Stenander (Michelle) of Pennsylvania; his grandchildren, Christian Stenander of Jamestown, Bethany Stenander of Jamestown, James Stenander of Pennsylvania, Chelsea Stenander of Pennsylvania, Angelica Stenander of Florida and Kayla Holder (Josh) of North Carolina; his great grandchildren, Callie and Wyatt Stratter of Pennsylvania; and his siblings, Phyllis Johnson (Allen) of West Ellicott and David Stenander (Becky) of Georgia.
Following strict social distancing guidelines, the family will receive friends from 11 a. m. to 1 p. m. Tuesday in the Lind Funeral Home, where masks are required at all times.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Celoron Hose Co., 92 Dunham Ave., or Bethel Lutheran Church, 904 W. Third St., both Jamestown, NY 14701.
