He was predeceased by: his parent Willard Sr.; his wife Patricia Short; and his brother Willard Meekins, Jr.. He is survived by: his parent Florence Johnson Meekins, Sr.; his daughters, Wendy Walton of Niagara Falls, NY, Merrilee Reemts (David) of Omaha, NE and Katherine Takas of Treasure Island, FL; his stepchildren, Suzanne Buskist of Grand Junction, CO and William Buskist of Salida, CO; and his grandsons, Justin Walton, James Takas, Michael Rinaldo and Eric Rinaldo.
