He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas B. Murray and Frances Lawson Murray; his brother Gary T. Murray; his sister-in-law Sharon Murray; and his aunts and uncles, Shirley, Alton Carlson, John and Helen Murray.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne C. Vitello Murray; his daughters, Cindy Herb (Kevin) and Sandra McNeal (Chuck); his grandchildren, Lori McNeal of Jamestown, Cy Herb of Jamestown, Haili Herb of Jamestown and Logan McNeal of Jamestown; and his siblings, Barbara Metcalf (Virgil) of Cape Coral, FL, Loretta Ammons (Sam) of Ft. Myers, FL and Jeffrey M. Murray (Karan) of Jamestown, NY. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to the current pandemic, a memorial mass will be held at a later date.
