He was predeceased by: his parents, James R. Rasmussen, Sr. and Grace Brown Rasmussen; his brother Jeffrey Rasmussen; his close friend Debbie Pawloski; and his pet Chewy.
He is survived by: his children, James Richard, III and Amy Bishop (Al); his grandchildren, Kaytlyn Rasmussen, Nicole Rasmussen, Nick Bishop and Olivia Bishop; his great grandchildren, Ivie Babyak-Urbanski and Gannon Bishop; and his siblings, Diane Michaels, Jerry Rasmussen and Tim Rasmussen. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Lind Funeral Home, Inc. (805 W 3rd St, Jamestown, NY 14701).
