He was predeceased by: his parents, H. Stacey Ross and Edith Carlson Ross; his daughter Kathy Ross of West Ellicott; his wife Marilyn Lindquist Ross; his daughter Karen Ross Crossley; and his brother Eugene S. Ross.

He is survived by: his grandsons, Brett Crossley of Macon, GA and Adam Crossley of Jamestown; and his great grandchildren, Hunter and Landon Crossley.
